“The Epic Games Mega Sale and Free Games Giveaway: Get Death Stranding and More for Free!”

The big spring sale has started on the Epic Games Store. The Mega Sale is the annual event where many games can be purchased for next to nothing and gamers even receive an extra 25 percent discount.

The big sale is always accompanied by the opening of the Vault, a virtual vault where Epic Games hides a number of major games. Every week, one or more free games are announced from the Vault, which can then be scored for free for a short period of time. For the first game, Epic already gave clues and soon the internet managed to crack the code, so they were pretty sure that the first game would be Death Stranding.

Death Stranding is now free to score in the Epic Store. In Death Stranding you play in an America that has been largely destroyed and where people live and work in isolated underground bunkers. You work for Bridges, a company that moves supplies from one bunker to another. That is not without dangers, the outside world is littered with strange supernatural creatures and there are no roads.

To make life easier, you can try to restore the road network of America together with your fellow players (whom you never meet, but whose work you can see).

Note: the Epic Games site is having a hard time. So you may have to wait a while to score the game. You have a week, so just try again tomorrow.

Epic Games regularly gives away free games

Fans of free games without a subscription are well off at Epic Games. Epic has been giving away free games every week and you don’t have to do anything for that. Unlike many subscription forms such as Amazon Prime, PlayStation Plus, Games with Gold and Humble Choice, the games are really completely free and remain yours without any subscription form.

In addition to the weekly free games, Epic has many more games that you can score for free. The Epic Games Store also has a large list of games that are always free to play. These include well-known names such as Rocket League, Paladins, Smite, Genshin Impact, Neverwinter, Fortnite, World of Warships, Trackmania and League of Legends. NB: you can get the free games only in the period between Thursday 5 p.m. and exactly one week after claim, but the game is and remains forever in your account and free to play. You don’t even need to download or play the game, if you claim the game in the free period it will be downloadable from the game at any time after that Epic Games Store.
