Kidnapping of two kids, namely F (11) from Bogor, West Java, and K (12) from South Jakarta, was finally revealed. The police managed to arrest the perpetrator, Abi Rizal Afif (28) in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (14/5) this afternoon.
Previously, boy F was kidnapped by perpetrators in Bogor, West Java on Sunday (8/5). Meanwhile, boy K was kidnapped while playing in the eviction area in Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/5).
It was later revealed that the kidnappers of F and K were the same person, Rizal Afif. Rizal Afif’s escape ended on Thursday (12/5) this afternoon after the police arrested him in Senayan.
This case was brought to light thanks to the cooperation of a team from the Bogor Police Satreskrim, South Jakarta Police Satreskrim, and the assistance of Brimob Kedunghalang, Bogor. The suspect, Abi Rizal Afif, was shot in the leg for resisting arrest when he was arrested.
The Suspect Initially Kidnapped Boy F in Bogor
The case began when the perpetrator kidnapped boy F who was exercising in the Kemang area, Bogor, on Sunday (8/5). The perpetrator at that time claimed to be a police officer and took the victim on the pretext of not wearing a mask.
“Around 8 o’clock there was a man, reprimanding them for not wearing a mask, violating the procedure like that lah. So at that time, 4 of my children came, then I met 2 children there, so there were 7 people, children too,” said F’s father, whose initials were R, when contacted, Tuesday (10/5).
Suspect Brings F to Jakarta, Then Kidnaps K
The results of the investigation revealed that boy F was brought by the perpetrators to Tanah Kusir. There, the suspect and F met boy K (12) and two of his friends.
Boy F, boy K, plus two of his friends were then taken by the perpetrator on a motorbike under the pretext that they would be taken to the police station because they weren’t wearing masks.
The four boys were then brought around. When he arrived at Fatmawati, South Jakarta, the suspect dropped boy F and 2 friends K, while kid K taken away by the suspect.
“So a motorbike with four people riding in a vehicle was carried around. But because it might be too heavy and too flashy, finally two were taken down and one in the name of K was taken. spin,” Buddha explained.
Boy F Found in Fatmawati
Two days later, on Tuesday (10/5) afternoon, F was found by residents in Fatmawati, South Jakarta. The discovery of F provides a bright spot for the disappearance of the boy K (12) who was kidnapped in Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta.
“His son (F) has been found. His condition is safe. (Found) in Jakarta, again picked up by members, want to be immediately taken to the Bogor Police PPA unit,” said Kemang Police Chief Kompol Ari Trisnawati when asked for confirmation on Tuesday (10/5) night.
