The end of the Neue Aargauer Bank (NAB) was decided at the end of August. But now the NAB-Aus is obvious. The majority of the NAB logos will disappear from the public this weekend. Occasional, less visible logos like the one in the parking garage in Baden were removed beforehand, some will be removed later. While this work suggests a gradual disappearance of the NAB, it no longer exists in purely legal terms. On Friday evening, it was fully integrated into Credit Suisse (CS).
From next Tuesday, December 1st, NAB customers will be greeted by Credit Suisse employees when they call. From this day onwards, all NAB employees will also receive CS e-mail addresses. The old e-mail addresses will continue to work for the time being.
Certainly until the technical integration is completed. This is more complex and will be completed in late April and early May. Only then does the NAB become a CS mortgage, only then does the NAB logo disappear from the monthly statement, and only then do the former NAB customers get CS EC cards. Only then will NAB customers have to get used to CS e-banking. Except for the logo, there will hardly be any differences.
The change comes in installments for NAB customers. In essence, CS Aargau should carry a lot of NAB. CS Aargau boss Roberto Belci speaks of “Aargau DNA”. He is convinced that CS is perceived as a regionally anchored bank in Aargau. “With us, thanks to a strong presence, customers will experience a lot of regional customer proximity and feel at home thanks to our high level of consulting expertise.” (sel)
