The international system that took shape after the Second World War has already exhausted itself, so it will inevitably be replaced by a new world order.
The fourth international system (Yalta-Potsdam), which was formed as a result of the Second World War, was destroyed. There are no rules in the world right now. None of the institutions, with the exception of NATO (and even then with a stretch) does not work, they are all dead. There is only the Euro-Atlantic (Anglo-Saxon) world, which is also called the Global North, and the great Global South, which is much larger in population than the first.
We are at the start, there are no rules. And, unfortunately, the fifth international system cannot be created otherwise than with the help of wars: small, medium, or one world war.
Such an opinion expressed Reserve Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Petr Chernik in an interview with Yulia Litvinenko, which can be viewed on the Novin Factory YouTube channel.
According to the expert, it is necessary to move away from the West-East dichotomy and from the dichotomy of capitalist countries – socialist countries + third world countries, as it was in the days of the USSR. At the moment, there are two giant groupings: the Global South and the Global North.
“In my opinion, we are in a conditional September 1939. That’s right, the flywheel is running, and it can’t be stopped,” Chernik said. The only question is how it will scroll and what will be the end results. But there is no doubt that the fifth international system will inevitably be built, because the world has closed in on the scientific and technological revolution that has been going on since the 16th century.
Today’s events in Ukraine will greatly affect the global world platforms, and a lot will depend on our war, the analyst noted.
Earlier, Petro Chernik said that September would be a very responsible month for Ukraine, and explained why.
Also Petr Chernik voiced the only way to counteract the endless flow of “cannon fodder” from the Russian Federation.
A little earlier, Petro Chernik pointed out a serious challenge for Ukraine, which is still ahead: “We must be ready.”
