Giki Argadiraksa set up an ambush on the toll road
Highway Patrol Unit (PJR) chief Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kompol Sutikno said his group helped carry out the chase on the toll road after receiving information from Bareskrim that a vehicle it suspected was on the toll road. Giki Argadiraksa crossing the highway.
“Aided in the arrest of DPO Bareskrim in a corruption case on behalf of Giki Argadiraksa,” Sutikno said when contacted on Friday (25/11/2022).
Giki Argadiraksa was arrested while crossing JORR Toll Road Km 39 on Thursday (11/24) at around 7.10pm WIB. Six members of the Polda Metro Jaya PJR unit were deployed on the spot to give chase.
Giki Aradiraksa fugitive in corruption case
The director of the national police’s criminal investigation unit, Brigadier General Cahyono Wibowo, said Giki Argadiraksa was on the run from a corruption case. The Chief Financial Officer of PT Mega Daya Survey Indonesia is a suspect in an alleged corruption case related to granting loans for projects at Bank Jateng Jakarta branch in 2018-2019.
Besides Giki Argadiraksa, Bareskrim Polri also appointed director of PT Mega Daya Survey Indonesia Welly Bordus Bambang, as a suspect in credit bribery at Bank Jateng, Jakarta Branch.
“Where both are the development of suspected Bina Marjani,” Cahyono said.
“Currently, investigators are still investigating the TPPU case water,” he continued.
