The end of this summer was marked by benders from Samsung. Contrary to all previous practices, the Korean giant has not introduced any smartphone from the Galaxy Note family, and it is quite possible that it will not even.
Samsung has not renewed its trademark on the Galaxy Note
Samsung has had its trademarks renewed in its homeland for its range of smartphones, but it has just “forgotten” a number of popular Galaxy Note stylus smartphones. The trademarks thus continue to apply only to the Galaxy M, Galaxy A, Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series. This step indicates what we have long feared – the Galaxy Note series has definitely been cut.
Galaxy Note series smartphones were popular mainly thanks to the built-in S Pen stylus, but its support was also accepted this year by smartphones Galaxy S21 Ultra and flexible Galaxy Z Fold. Although these are not full-fledged replacements, as the stylus is not integrated in their case, Samsung is probably able to wave at it. The Galaxy Note line a crowd of Orthodox fans behind them, but their numbers were not large enough to make it worthwhile for Samsung to rebuke their desires.
Samsung sees the future in flexible displays, which can be seen in the pre-orders of the latest Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 models introduced. The benders will probably replace the Galaxy Note forever.
