Arkady Wrocławskie is located in the center of Wrocław, at ul. Silesian Insurgents. In a three-level gallery with an area of 30,000. m2 there are shops, restaurants, service points and a cinema. Additionally, there are 11 floors of office space in Arkady Wrocławskie. In March this year the current owner, Develia, announced the closure of the shopping center. This is expected to take place in the first half of 2024.

This decision was to be influenced by the difficult financial situation related to, among others, with the coronavirus pandemic, as well as rising energy costs and inflation. In March 2022, the company sold another similar facility, SkyTower, which, in addition to the shopping center, included office space and apartments.

Negotiations with a buyer willing to buy Arkady Wrocławskie are still ongoing. Paweł Ruszczak also announces that in the coming months Develia will submit an application for permission to demolish the building. The date of this work is not yet known. The company does not inform what will be located there. As reported by “Wyborcza”, there are unofficial voices about creating a multi-functional facility in place of Arkady, but it will be dominated by office spaces.
