The Empire State Building in New York lights up to the rhythm of the Backstreet Boys

December 09, 2022 – Isabell Wüppenhorst

The Christmas lights on New York’s iconic Empire State Building will twinkle to the beat of the Backstreet Boys’ new Christmas album this year.

This year the Christmas lights of New York’s famous Empire State Building will shine to the tune of the Backstreet Boys. From December 19 to 25, the lights atop the skyscraper will flash each night to the beat of songs from the band’s new Christmas album, A Very Backstreet Christmas, organizers said. Music can be heard live on the radio or on the Internet.

Band members visit the Empire State Building

The band members – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson – planned to celebrate the show by visiting the Empire State Building on Thursday. The top of the New York skyscraper lights up in a different color almost every night to celebrate parties or sports teams.
