This Sunday, goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa reached 400 games defending the Águilas Club América jersey, and he did so by keeping his goal clean, in the Azulcremas thrashing against the Red Devils of Toluca at the Azteca Stadium.
Through social networks, the American team recognized Paco Memo’s career in Liga MX, where he has only played with the Eagles; this in two stages, the first from 2004 to 2010, and the second from 2019 to the present, which has earned him to be considered an idol by the fans.

Memo himself shared an emotional message on his social networks, dedicated to all the fans and members of Club América, whom he thanked for the support they have given him during all these years defending the blue-cream shirt; and he assured that it is an honor to be part of the history of the institution.
“An HONOR and PRIDE to represent my home and institution for many years and so many games … THANK YOU @clubamerica @eazcarraga @Sbanos … and the missing American fans together !!!”, Ochoa shared on his Twitter account.
Ochoa was able to celebrate this historic achievement, where he tied Adrián Chávez’s mark as the goalkeepers with the most encounters with América, with the resounding victory of the Águilas over Toluca; which was a great respite for the azulcremas, who have not had a good tournament and are in the lower part of the table.
