In the midst of the commotion, family and friends painfully say goodbye to Juanita Sirimarco, the girl who died after contracting Influenza B on their graduate trip to Villa Carlos Paz.
As a tribute, his loved ones gathered this Sunday at La Cantera Park, in the missionary capital of Posadas, and released blue balloonssince that was his favorite color.

During the march, her father Claudio became emotional and expressed: “The only thing I wanted was for her to be a good person. There are no words that can express the void it leaves in my heart.but I want to deeply thank each of you who have been by my side, giving me support and love in these difficult days. Your love has been a balm in the midst of so much pain and I cannot thank you enough.”
Along these lines, one of the people present at the march stated: “We missionaries are shocked. We don’t understand how an infection advanced so quickly in such a young body. “We have a lot of sadness.”
Gabriela was a teacher in the entrance course of the industrial school she attended and posted a heartbreaking message on Facebook after learning the sad news: “Today I have in my hands the last words she wrote on the first day of school. I never imagined that these lines would be a testimony of his dreams, his objectives and everything he expected from the future. My heart is full of pain and anguish at his departure.”
“Juani was a light in the classroom, and his absence leaves a void that is impossible to fill. Tonight, through tears, I find myself holding his words in my hands, those he shared with so much enthusiasm on the first day of school, preparing to enter high school. Juanita was 13 years old and had so many dreams ahead of her: to be president of the Nation, study architecture, and never give up because, as she expresses, ‘I don’t want to have wasted my entire life.’ He read political books, practiced martial arts and did his best in everything. Meeting her was a gift that I will always treasure.”said the woman.

And she closed: “Today I am invaded by the pain of knowing that those dreams were left unfulfilled, but her light, her energy and her desire to be the best version of herself will continue to live on in all of us who knew you. Rest in peace, dear Juani.”
The Instituto Cristiano República Argentina, the school where the teenager attended, released a statement in this regard: “With deep pain and sadness, we address the entire educational community to announce the departure of our beloved student, Juanita Milagros Sirimarco Díaz. As the standard bearer of the primary level, she represented all the values that her beloved school promotes.”
Likewise, they noted: “Her dedication, her passion for art and her generous spirit made her stand out not only as a student, but as an exceptional person who always illuminated the environment around her. In these moments of deep sadness, We remember his smile, his joy and the legacy of love and peace of his presence. Even without understanding the whys, we believe that God wanted her by his side. She left us a lot, at only 13 years old she has been an example and a blessing for those of us who had her close.”

What happened to the 13-year-old teenager when she returned from her graduate trip
Juanita had returned to Posadas on Tuesday, after enjoying the trip for primary school graduates with her classmates from ICRA in Córdoba. He started showing symptoms during the trip and it arrived broken. Given this situation, her family immediately took her to the Fernando Barreyro Pediatric Hospital in Posadas for studies.
“She was upset, with vomiting and a lot of stomach pain. When they did the studies, they told us that he was a serious condition”said Claudio, his father, in dialogue with local media. There they detected that he had contracted the Influenza B virus.

However, despite the care received at the health center, the infection progressed drastically as the days went by and he died this Saturday. due to septic shock.
