The service takes place in the Amsterdam pop temple Paradiso. “There were all kinds of people making speeches: Jules Deelder, Bart Chabot. Great performances. At one point I had the feeling: I also have to do something.”
“Then I sang ‘Africa tot in Amerika’ (‘All Colors’, ed.) by K3 for a packed Paradiso,” says Holly. In Beau’s house You can also see images of that performance. The memory of it moves her. “It’s been a really long time since I’ve been emotional about it.”
