The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, said on Tuesday that it is not permissible for Israel to be given an unconditional green light and unrestricted permission to kill.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in his speech at the opening of the annual session of the Shura Council, the Emir of Qatar, said: “We say enough is enough. Israel should not be given a green light for unconditional killing,” according to Reuters.

He also pointed out that it is not permissible in this era to “use cutting off water and preventing medicine and food as weapons against an entire people,” and that it is also not permissible to continue ignoring the reality of occupation, siege and settlement.

The Emir of Qatar added that the conflict between Israel and Hamas represents a dangerous escalation, noting that it threatens the security of the region and the world.
