The all-electric Lucid Air sedan can travel up to 837 km on a single battery charge, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said. This result was achieved by the sedan in the Dream Edition Range version with 19-inch wheels. With 21-inch wheels its mileage is reduced to 774 kilometers.
Dream Edition cars have an electric powertrain with 933 hp. The top modification of the Dream Edition Performance with 19-inch wheels can travel 758 km on a single charge (or 725 km on larger wheels). This version of Lucid Air produces 1111 horsepower.
The most affordable sedan Lucid Air (modification Grand Touring) costs from 139 thousand dollars. Such a car can travel 830 km or 754 km, depending on the radius of the wheels. Lucid Air achieves such results thanks to its exceptional coefficient of air resistance.
The latter is only 0.21. After the record, the sedan was named the most aerodynamically efficient luxury car in the world. Deliveries of Lucid Air to consumers are expected to begin before the end of the year.
