Kaohsiung City President and Vice President elections will be held today (25th). Former KMT member Zeng Junjie suddenly announced his withdrawal from the party before the election. The Kuomintang KK political line said that it is a dark victory achieved by the DPP with the secret technique of power and the Kaohsiung city council fell into the darkest day in history.

In the morning, after the swearing-in of members, the election of Gaoshi’s chairman and vice-chairman was officially held, Kang Yucheng of the Democratic Progressive Party collaborated with Zeng Junjie who announced his withdrawal from the Kuomintang. The Kuomintang raised a storm in the teapot, and Lu Shumei was so angry that she didn’t even take a group photo of the fourth session of parliamentarians. She quoted Master Hongyi’s quotes and made Zeng Junjie bitter: “It is better to feel at ease than to get what you get.”

Seven members of the KK Kuomintang political line, including Li Meizhen, Chen Lina, Huang Xiangshu, Li Yazhu, Cai Wuhong, Cai Jinyan and Zhong Yizhong, issued a statement that the entire DPP party would exchange a vote and one day the Kaohsiung City Council fell into pitch darkness. In the future, the Kuomintang will not only strengthen its supervision and checks and balances, but also prevent Chen Qimai from continuing to infiltrate and divide the Kuomintang under the guise of “progress does not distinguish between blue and green” through Vice Chairman Zeng.

Although the Kuomintang has lost the election of the president and vice president, it has also cleared the hidden stake: if it can really unite and show its fighting power in the future, it will be beneficial to its future development. The KK political line pointed out that the DPP went crazy to gain power, and even exchanged 27 hand votes and other green friendly votes for Zeng Junjie’s vote. This “all parties for one vote” operation symbolizes that the DPP has completely lost its idealism in Kaohsiung, and all democratic values are bullshit in the face of the temptation of power.

The political line of the KK has said that this is an election without blessings, and the high degree of injustice of the president and vice president has created a fuse of distrust of the discussion. In the future, the KMT must not let itself be slaughtered, and the KK political line will strengthen its supervisory power over the Kaohsiung city government and the president and vice president. The KMT will never allow the Kaohsiung city council to become a debating bureau, a rubber stamp or loot distribution platform.

The KK political line also pointed out that this election made it clear that Chen Qimai had torn off the mask of a warm man after his re-election and returned to his true nature as a “man fighting power”. Split the Democratic Party. Truly achieving spiritual unity and unanimity with the outside world is a task the Kuomintang will tackle together in the future.
