On the 19th (local time), Ivanka posted a farewell message on Twitter to send a blessing to President-elect Joe Biden, wife Jill Biden, vice president-elect Kamala Harris, and husband Douglas Mhope.
Ivanka said, “I hope God will give wisdom, courage, and strength to Joe Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President-elect Camela Harris, Douglas Mhope and all those who are committed to serving the country.”
“The last four years have been an amazing journey,” he recalled of serving as an aide for four years. “With almost every US state and dozens of countries, I fell in deeper love with Americans. I am grateful for the love and support you have shown me.” He wrote, “I hope and believe that Americans can go in a positive direction.”
Ivanka, along with her husband, Senior Adviser Jared Kushner, has reigned in the White House.
He was criticized for being involved in politics because he was the president’s family without much political experience, but in the end, he stayed with President Trump for four years.
Observers believe Ivanka is planning to run for Senate in Floria in 2022.
Meanwhile, on the day before his retirement, President Trump also said in his farewell speech, “I hope the new administration will succeed in making the United States safe and prosperous.”
Most of his speeches were devoted to advocating his achievements, and Biden’s name was never directly mentioned.
