Can you believe that The Elder Scrolls Online has been with us for a decade? Many of us probably remember perfectly the moments of the title’s premiere and a lot of concerns about whether it will be possible to maintain it and whether an MMORPG production has any chance of success in this world. As it turned out over time, all this was unnecessary, and the developers handled it almost flawlessly, giving us a title that they are still developing to this day.
All this, of course, through smaller and larger updates, as well as highly anticipated, full-fledged additions that are constantly released, preventing the monotony that could potentially arise. Anyway, at the beginning of the year we read about it the project generated over $2 billion revenue – and it simply must be impressive, because it is a huge amount.

Now this topic has been raised again by Matt Firor, one of the directors of the studio responsible for The Elder Scrolls Online. He admitted in a recent interview for GamesRadar+ that this sum is, of course, something fantastic, but in fact it also carries a certain symbolism – it shows the huge involvement of players in the game itself and proves that we are dealing with a truly fantastic production:
