Saulkrasti is invited to the eighth chamber music festival “Meeting in Saulkrasti”, which will take place from August 5 to 15.
The Chamber Music Festival in Saulkrasti is a creative workshop where musicians and composers meet for the eighth year in a row to prepare a special chamber music program for two weeks in the atmosphere of almost home music. The participants of the festival are a trio Fabel a Carmine, piano quartet Quadra, chamber ensemble Latvian Kremerata and soloists – violinist Rainer Schmidt (Rainer Schmidt) and vibrophonist Andrejs Pushkarevs.
The music festival in 2014 was founded by violinist Magdalena Geka. Although many of the festival participants’ daily life takes place in various concert halls around the world, the desire to delight Saulkrasti residents and city guests has not diminished. For the third year in a row, the artistic director of the festival is violinist Konstantīns Paturskis, chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica musician.
On Friday, “Classic” invites to listen to a telephone interview with Constantine Paturskywho is currently with Latvian Kremerata performs at the Bach Music Days in Ansbach, but in the studio we meet the violinist Arvīds Zvaguli from the piano quartet Quadra.
