Promote craftsmen and merchants who implement concrete actions in favor of the environment through various themes (waste management, discharge of fluids, energy management, transport, biodiversity, etc.): this is the objective eco-challenge labels which were awarded this Tuesday, April 12 afternoon, in the lounges of the Montescot hotel, in Chartres.
Seven “favorites”
Organized by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA) of Centre-Val de Loire, this action, which started in July 2021, was relayed locally by Chartres Métropole. 64 companies had initially been prospected, 13 of them were certified, and seven were even rewarded with a “coup de coeur” for a particular commitment.

“This action is part of the Territorial Air-Energy Climate Plan (PCAET) on the territory of Chartres Métropole”, recalled Florent Gauthier, Mayor of Lucé and Vice-President of Chartres Métropole in charge of sustainable development, by presenting their prizes to the winners alongside Michel Cibois, first vice-president of the CMA Centre-Val de Loire, representing Julien Chéron, president of the CMA of Eure-et-Loir, Fabien Gallou, elected to the CMA of Eure -et-Loir, and Patrick Géroudet, municipal councilor of Chartres, delegate for the promotion of the City.
