The EC sanctions 7 banks for cartel on the bond markets, News from the companies

BRUSSELS, May 20 (Reuters) – The European Commission on Thursday announced that it had imposed fines totaling 371 million euros on seven banks for violating competition rules in government bond markets.

The institutions sanctioned are Bank of America, Natixis, Nomura, RBS (now NatWest), UBS, UniCredit and WestLB (now POrtigon), specifies the European executive in a press release. (Foo Yun Chee, French version Marc Angrand)
