The European Commission has called for Bulgaria’s accession to the Schengen area, he said BGNES.

The annual report on the Schengen situation emphasizes the importance of completing the Schengen area.

The EC calls on the Council of the European Union to take a decision that would allow Croatia, as well as Romania and Bulgaria, to officially become part of it, because they have met all the criteria.
