The Earth’s Core Stops Rotating and its Rotation is Counterclockwise

LIVE Techno – Seismologists have published a study in the journal Nature Geoscience, revealing what they believe to be a reversal earth’s corewhich has the potential to influence rotation earth itself.

In the study researchers Xi Yang and Xiaodong Song of Peking University believe that the inner core actually stops its rotation after looking at data measuring changes in waveforms and travel times of seismic waves since the 1960s.

On reviewing the data, they found officials determined that the seismic waves showed little activity for about a decade until 2009, when temporal changes in the shape of the waves consistently disappeared, indicating that it stopped rotating completely.

After 2009, seismic changes show changes, rotating in the opposite direction, launching from the Sputnik News website, Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Song and Yang believe the inner core could oscillate with a periodicity of about 70 years while changing direction every 35 years or so. The oscillations, they said, could help explain the 60 to 70 year variation in the length of an Earth day.

“We have repeated earthquakes that have occurred in the same location. It’s like we’re doing a CT scan of the Earth,” Yang said.

If their hypothesis is correct, nothing ‘bad’ has happened to life on planet Earth. The reversal shouldn’t be strong enough to affect Earth’s magnetic field, for example turning the north and south poles upside down. Even so these events can shorten the length of the day by a fraction of a millisecond over the course of a year.
