In one of the fields in the Karasus area, witnesses noticed that there was a big hole in the ground. The akimat of the region said that the crater appeared as a result of a natural impact.
According to the akimat, a hole measuring 3×4 meters and up to 10 meters deep appeared on agricultural land.
“As a result of the large amount of rain, precipitation in the form of rain and snow since the fall of 2023, as well as this year’s flood, the ground is saturated, the groundwater level has risen in relation to this, a landslide has occurred,” said the administration.
Pictures taken at the scene show that a small hole has appeared inside the big hole, and that its depth is much greater than it seemed at first glance.
