They are nicknames that the inhabitants of La Palma have given to the volcano of Cumbre Vieja, which has been spewing its ash and lava over the island for almost two months now. Or better yet: bad boy, bad boy. “A man who sleeps during the day but wakes up at night and becomes aggressive and spits his fire. And makes our lives miserable.”
