The Dutch are still far from eating sensibly enough

The Dutch do not eat the recommended amounts of vegetables, legumes, potatoes, grain products and fats from the Wheel of Five. Which observes health institute RIVM.

Less than ten percent does it properly. Still, the organization sees a “cautious” improvement over previous poll results, she reports Thursday.

Food

More than a third of the Dutch do consume enough cheese and bread, but in turn choose bread types that contain little fiber, many unfavorable fats or a lot of salt. And about two thirds of the Dutch eat more meat than is recommended.
