As we wrote, Krisztián Molnár, the chairman of the Fejér County Assembly, together with the member of parliament Lajos Mészáros, on the initiative of László Tüke, also a resident of Pusztaszabolcs, approached Gábor Kubatov, the president of the Ferencvárosi Torna Club, to offer an auction item, which could be put up for bid, if he had the means to do so. support Kornél Bicskei’s recovery with the highest bid. The president was happy to support the initiative and offered a match ball signed by all the players, which could be bid on between December 18 and January 2.
Kornél Bicskei struggled and is currently struggling with many illnesses. Among these diseases are cancer and hemophilia, the latter due to infected blood received in the 80s. From now on, he is also limited in his mobility – he now uses crutches and is waiting for a hip operation to be able to walk independently again. In the meantime, Kornél is living in difficult financial circumstances, partly due to his health condition, so the money raised from the auction will support the surgery and the subsequent medical treatment. Covering the costs costs approximately HUF 2.5 million.
During the online auction, although many people made offers, the highest offer came from ST Solar Kft., who offered HUF 500,000.
Krisztián Molnár said that there was another offer of a larger amount during the bidding, but it was not for the match ball, but only wanted to provide financial support for Kornél’s recovery.
Alongside the president of the general assembly, Lajos Mészáros spoke about why the hip surgery ahead of him is more complicated in Kornél’s case. As he said, accompanying diseases make the intervention more complicated.
