Hits and Clips announced it to you at the end of July, it is now confirmed. The duet between Elton John and Britney Spears for a new version of “Tiny Dancer” is coming soon. This new version is called “Hold Me Closer”.
Although a release date has yet to be revealed, fans can pre-register the single now on Spotify, Apple Musci or Deezer.
Rumors of this high-flying collaboration emerged last month, but we haven’t had any confirmation from the two artists until now.
Elton John made the announcement on social media. It doesn’t reveal much other than the title and what appears to be a cover possibly with the name of the track accompanied by two emojis, a rose and a rocket. the rose probably for Britney Spears and the rocket in reference to his nickname of Rocket Man.

This will mark Britney Spears’ long-awaited return to the music scene.
It’s been a busy time for Elton John, who recently announced that he will be performing special ‘bis’ concerts next year, extending his multi-year ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour’, which will mark his final run of shows.
