The Ducal Festival of Pastrana is already a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest

The General Directorate of Tourism, Commerce and Crafts has published a resolution by which it officially grants the title of Festival of Regional Tourist Interest to the Ducal Festival of Pastrana (Guadalajara). As published this Monday by the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM), given the documentation that appears in the file for the declaration of the Ducal Festival held in Pastrana as a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest and seen the favorable report issued for that purpose by the Provincial Director of the Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment in Guadalajara, of April 19, 2021, has agreed to grant this declaration.

The news was celebrated by the delegate of the Board in Guadalajara, Eusebio Robles, during the opening ceremony of the exhibition of period costumes of the Association Ladies and Gentlemen of Pastrana, which takes place in the Church of the Convent of San Francisco, and which has served as a prologue to the celebration of the next edition of the Ducal Festival, which will take place from July 16 to 18.

This declaration, he affirmed, is a “fair recognition of this festivity” and confirms that this typical Pastrana festival is of interest, not only for the inhabitants of the municipality or the province, but also for all those who reside in the region and even outside her.
