DUBAI, 12th August, WAM/ The Dubai Police Young Leaders Council reviewed its most prominent activities over the past five years, which included the implementation of 66 dialogue and discussion sessions, the reception of 80 visiting delegations, and the participation in 26 joint activities and events.
The Council also implemented 30 projects and initiatives, won 6 local awards and 3 international awards, and recently won an award for the Dubai Police as the best pioneering entity in youth empowerment in the institutional and police awards within the Minister of Interior Excellence Award 2023.
Engineer Salama Al Falasi, Chairman of the Dubai Police Young Leaders Council, said that during the year 2022, the council motivated about 91 percent of young people, and the internal opinion poll for youth happiness achieved a rate of 97.3 percent, noting that in the development and rehabilitation aspect, 9398 young men and women were trained in courses. The youth segment in Dubai Police represented 40 percent of the participants in the Dubai Police Strategy Update Team.
Al-Falasi confirmed that the youth in Dubai Police enjoy direct support from His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al-Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who pays great attention to them in the work system, noting that the youth of Dubai Police were able to make an important difference in the system of institutional performance, which is what It is reflected in many of the results achieved by Dubai Police in the various security and entrepreneurial aspects.
For his part, Captain Engineer Khalifa Al-Roum, Vice Chairman of the Young Leaders Council in Dubai Police, pointed out the great role of Dubai Police youth in the success of many strategic and important projects and initiatives in Dubai Police, through their contribution to organizing and preparing many local and international conferences.
