Authorities are searching for a pickup truck driver involved in a fatal crash on the Henry Hudson Expressway in Manhattan early this morning.
The incident happened around 2:25 this morning in the section of the freeway near 165th Street, in Washington Heights.
In the Citizen App images you can see one of the cars on fire.
A pickup truck was traveling in the opposite lane of traffic when it hit a Dodge Challenger.
The driver of the car, a 40-year-old man, and his 38-year-old passenger were transported to area hospitals where they were both pronounced dead.
The truck driver fled on foot. A passenger in that vehicle was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
No one has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
