A shipping and delivery van driver walked into the Nieuwenhuizen Natuursteen shop front on the corner of Kreitenmolenstraat and Handelsweg in Udenhout on Sunday early morning. This transpired about a quarter earlier 7.
According to a 112 correspondent, the driver would have arrived from the N65 at substantial pace and the van would have gone straight to the roundabout.
Rammed fence and planter
The van crashed into a fence and large planter before pulling up to the entrance.
The 112 correspondent wonders if the thick fog played a role in the crash. “Since of the meadows in the region, you can barely see a hand in front of your eyes.” This is under investigation.
