The driver of the Al-Jalala bus accident was detained and subjected to a drug test – photos

The Public Finance decided to carry out a drug and poison analysis for the driver of the Al-Jalala bus accident, to determine whether he had taken narcotics or not, as he was arrested after the accident which resulted in the death of 12 and the injury of 28 others.

The public prosecution team notified the Suez Medical Center of the statements of the injured and witnesses of the accident, who said that the driver was traveling at too high a speed in the sloping area that saw the accident at the intersections- road of the victims at the Suez General Morgue.

The “Galala-Sokhna” road, south of Suez Governorate, saw a bus carrying the students of Galala University back, and Dr. Mina Fawzi, director of the ambulance facility, 25 cars to the scene of the accident, where the paramedics provided medical insurance.

The Suez Ambulance Service had received a report from motorists that the bus had overturned on the Galala-Sokhna road, Suez direction, at the junction of the road in front of a car supply station.

Directed by Dr. Mina Fawzi, Director of Ambulance Facility, 25 ambulances to the scene of the accident to provide immediate medical care.

The initial investigation revealed that the bus had the number plates “AQM” 2376, and that it was on the way back to Suez, with students from Galala University traveling on it, and that the reason for it was excessive speed behind the bus turn.

Dr. Ismail Al-Hafnawi, Director of the Health Care Branch in Suez, also directed to increase the level of preparedness and call medical teams to the emergency department of the Suez Medical Center to receive the injured and direct them to the internal departments and care after determining their cases.
