It was 11:40 p.m. this Saturday, when the alert processing center of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Meuse was warned of a traffic accident on the D902, between Longchamps-sur- Aire and Chaumont-sur-Aire.
According to the first elements of the investigation, a 40-year-old motorist, domiciled in Vavincourt, was returning to his home when he lost control of his vehicle in a slight curve, which rolled over several times. The speed and blood alcohol level (the driver tested positive for the breathalyzer) seem to be the cause of this departure from the road.

The gendarmes of the community of Saint-Mihiel brigades made the usual findings and opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of this accident which occurred in a context of curfew.
