The dream ship in Hawaii on June 12th on ZDF!

Captain Burger and his crew have a very special task to face during this voyage to Hawaii. Triggered by the presence of the attractive controller Katja Kranz, Chief Purser Holger and Souschef Thomas get into trouble.

Holger had advanced Thomas 10,000 euros from the ship’s cash register so that he could pay for his little daughter’s eye surgery. Now the “loan” threatens to be exposed by controller Katja. In desperation, they feign blackmail and threaten to poison the food on board if the captain doesn’t pay 10,000 euros immediately. In the first step, Captain Burger responds to the demand that the most important thing for him is and remains the safety of the passengers and crew. After an unsuccessful money transfer in Hawaii, Captain Burger becomes suspicious and, together with his closest confidants, Hanna Liebhold and Doctor Sander, forges a daring plan.

Jon and Vera have been secretly in love for a few months. Now they go on board separately, Vera with her son Moritz and Jon with his daughter Lotte. On the trip to Hawaii, they want to come out as a couple. However, this project turns out to be more difficult than expected. With Lotte sorely missing her mother, who died of cancer three years ago, her father Jon balks at introducing her to his new love – which in turn prevents Vera from telling Moritz that there is another man in her life.

The flirt between the former jewel thief Frank and the insurance detective Vera seems to develop less problematic at first, especially as it is fueled by the rich widow Susanna. Mila was assigned to hunt down Susanna to prevent her jewels from being stolen again while on a cruise. But in Hawaii, Susanna, allegedly without a single rock on her neck, is self-employed.

Jon and Vera use the time on land to get closer to each other’s child – which unfortunately proves to be impossible in the case of Moritz: Moritz cannot be elicited a smile either while surfing or on a trip to the famous dinosaur park, which Vera increasingly does the nerves go. Only when Jon invites him for a fast ride on a quad bike does the tide seem to turn – but then an accident happens that puts everything in question for good.

Enviably in love, on the other hand, Frank and Mila stroll through Honolulu and across the beautiful island – briefly crossing paths with Susanna, but also with Frank’s past.
