At the age of 43, Slovak singer Barbara Haščáková from the singing duo MC Erik & Barbara, who in the 90s of the last century became famous for hits such as Sen and When Love Comes, died in Florida.
About death informed Slovak server Aktuality.sk. According to him, the singer had been suffering from problems with the pancreas for a long time. Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, where she lived, determined the cause of death to be a stroke.
According to the media, Haščáková died already on November 22, while the last farewell was held in Sarasota on November 28 in the circle of her closest family and closest friends. “In the following weeks, her remains will be transported in an urn to Slovakia, she will be buried in our native Košice,” said her brother Andrej Haščák.
The musician first worked in the group Maduar, later she formed a duo with a colleague from Maduar Erik Aresta. She has lived and worked in the United States since 2000. It was one of the greatest hits of the duo MC Erik & Barbara Senwhich has over seven million views on YouTube alone.
