For a few more weeks she will be on “Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten”: Olivia Marei, who plays the policewoman Toni in RTL-Daily, is pregnant. As a result, the 32-year-old will be taking a break for the baby in the fall of this year. An important call puts Toni before a decision
Just as Toni is about to comfort Erik about the brickwork, his cell phone rings. Enchanted, she hears what the end of her at the other end of the line has to say. Apparently, a former colleague is putting together an international team of investigators in New York to solve a special case. Toni is one of the few chosen to be part of the investigation. Although Erik is very proud of his girlfriend, she reacts more cautiously. Are you in a long-distance relationship? Not an option for Toni at the moment!

But Erik immediately offers his girlfriend the right solution: he wants to go to New York with them and look for a new job. The demolition of the masonry means that the keen cook will have a fresh start anyway. But there is a trick not to be overlooked, which turns out to be already evening when you watch the series: Erik doesn’t speak English very well. He has to admit it to Toni too. Presumably this will prevent the neighborhood resident from accompanying his girlfriend, so Toni will most likely travel to New York alone until the case is closed. Patrick Heinrich, who embodies chef Erik at GZSZ, doesn’t seem to be pursuing any exit plans at the moment, so we strongly suspect that only Toni will be leaving Kolle-Kiez in the fall.
Whether this is indeed the case and how it continues for “Erni”, as GZSZ fans affectionately call the unequal pair, will only be shown in the coming weeks. She is always exciting!
