In the women’s FVM Cup, the matches of the first round are determined.
On Friday 28 October, the Mittelrhein Football Association (FVM) will broadcast live on Facebook starting at 19:00 the draws for the second round of the Men’s Mittelrhein Cup and the first round of the Women’s FVM Cup. Patrik Zielezny, vice president of the Association Matches Committee, is in charge of drawing the eight games of the “Bitburger Cup”.
In the women’s FVM Cup, which will be played for the first time this season as the “Ford Cup”, Emilie Schmidt is responsible for the draw as manager of the cup match and chairman of the association committee for women’s football. The matches will be played on November 19th according to the program.
The exceptions are the games of the Western Regional Championships, which are mandatory in the league on this day. The matches between Fortuna Cologne, Alemannia Aachen and 1. FC Düren will therefore be played on Wednesday 23 November.
The men’s association cup is played in five rounds including the final. Teams from the lower classes enjoy home rights up to and including the semifinals. The winners of both competitions qualify for the first round of the DFB Cup. The reigning men’s champion is third division club FC Viktoria Köln, who have been attracted to FC Bayern Munich this season.
