The dramatic situation in Plovdiv: the fire brigade with the first information!

A failure of a gas cylinder left on a terrace became the cause of the firefor which Plovdiv24.bg informed this evening. This was announced by the press center of the fire brigade of the city under the hills.

Vigilant residents of the “Smirnenski” neighborhood noticed flames on the 10th floor terrace of a 14-storey residential block on “Ravnishta” street. The signal was received shortly after 18:30. Two First Service fire brigade teams were sent to the address indicated.

There was no need to evacuate residents from the upper floors, as most of the apartments were unoccupied at the time and those on the block quickly self-evacuated. The immediate intervention of the fire brigade prevented more serious damage.

According to the firefighters, the neighbors who came first to help acted very quickly and on time, and their actions were extremely helpful.
