Klagenfurt has kite fever! Every Friday in June, the city marketing department invites children and their families to go “kite hunting”. There is a great children’s program throughout the city center: handicrafts, climbing, games and amazement guaranteed!

Every Friday in June from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., lots of action, games and fun await visitors of all ages in the city centre. During the “dragon hunt” there are over 10 stations that the children can try out – handicrafts, climbing, a visit to the parish tower, getting to know musical instruments, orienteering, Giggo and Rita’s clown show or an insight into beekeeping – the offer is large and so was the excitement on opening day! The opening was accompanied by the “dragon family” Jakotopia from Graz.
The weekly schedule includes “Capoeira”, the Brazilian martial art in which dance, acrobatics and rhythm merge, “Training for self-confidence and coordination” with Thor Training and “Tales of dragons and other wild things” with reading uncle Christian Krall and reading fox Theo in the Bahnhofstrasse habitat. –> More Details about the program
collective pass: Children who eagerly participate in the stations can refill their collection pass (available at each station) and receive a small surprise when the pass is full. Be sure to be part of the next dragon hunt!
