Earlier this month, Bioware announced that the next game in the Dragon Age series will not joins EA Play. It made many people wonder if the development has encountered problems, but in a new statement, the game manager assures that everything is going well.
– Sorry that there will be no EA Play news this year, but know that the team is fully focused and making great progress. We look forward to sharing more when the time is right, Christian Dailey said via Twitter.
Along with the brief statement, Dailey shared a new piece of concept art for Dragon Age 4. The image – which you can see in its entirety to the right of the article – seems to suggest that the Antivan Crows faction will make an entry in the upcoming game.
Antivan Crows is a well-dressed gang of thieves, spies and assassins. The gang originally appeared in the series’ very first game, and have been here and there ever since. What role they might play in Dragon Age 4 is uncertain.
The next Dragon Age game – which has not yet been given its official name – has been under development at Bioware for a long time. The project has encountered a number of problems already, but now the ship must have got back on track. We still know little about the game, but according to rumors, Bioware has cut all scheduled multiplayer elements to focus solely on a single player experience.
