Delyan Peevski and Dr. Jevdet Chakarov to take over the leadership of the DPS and co-chair it together. This is suggested by the honorary chairman of the movement, Ahmed Dogan, in an address to the members and sympathizers of the party.
“The DPS is about to become a corporate, paid, party organization,” says Dogan. Therefore, and as part of the formula for solving this problem, he proposes that two co-presidents stand at the head of the movement.
“In my reasons for this “tandem” is the principle of complementarity, not the competitive principle: because “two sharp stones do not grind flour”. And society expects a quick and effective solution to its most pressing problems. In order to survive and develop, you must be strong, active and corporate, and not lie to yourself in the shadows of negation and hatred,” adds the honorary chairman of DPS.

Dear couriers!
I turn to you with alarm and concern about what is happening in the structures of the DPS.
For a long time I consciously isolated myself, and for that I needed more time to realize the collective body of DPS that has become and is becoming alive. DPS is about to become a corporate, paid, party organization. I know that politics without funding is not done, but there is a critical line, crossing which turns us into another political quality. Because the interests of “market democracy” are “eating” the traditional values of democracy. Unfortunately, this is characteristic of all political forces.
Dear friends and associates, the world is changing before our eyes. The dynamics of the geopolitical context is a new challenge to the protection of national interests, national security and national sovereignty. We are on the threshold of a long-term confrontation of Globalism with the expectations of nation-states and national identities. It is likely that this trend will be combined with attempts to restore the spheres of influence of the former empires and will only “end” with the transformation of OUR POLITICAL WORLD into a legitimate multipolar one and, of course, after finding a controlled balance between the “old” and “new” great forces. It is traumatic that we do not always realize this. Democracy is by definition multi-party. The protection and development of the rights and freedoms of citizens, including ethno-religious identities, and the existential need for a higher standard of living of man , are an essential part of the basic values of the liberal democratic system of the society. The condition of the CIVIL SOCIETY is determined by the strong attitudes to change of the active citizens who represent the real electoral community of the country. Therefore, how and to what extent the party-administrative structures of the various parties solve the problems of the people, is of extreme importance. If the living relationship between party structures and active citizens is at “self-flow”, this is a very serious political syndrome for defecting and for the need for change and renewal.
Therefore, as a matter of urgency, I propose:
1) stabilization of the organization in the traditional areas of the DPS and
2) expansion of party building in non-traditional areas.
I offer to your attention a formula for finding a solution for the future development of DPS. The key to finding a “way out” in this situation is only in the co-chairmanship of Mr. Delyan Peevski and Associate Professor Dr. Jevdet Chakarov:
– Dr. Cevdet Chakarov should be primarily responsible for our traditional areas, for our good-neighborly relations with the Republic of Turkey and with the liberal formations, because he was a member of the Bureau and vice-president of the Liberal International for 14 years and nine consecutive terms.
– Mr. Delyan Peevski is a representative of the new generation of technocrats in politics, who have, as it were, an innate instinct for pragmatically solving the problems of the people and the state. In a short time, he emerged as a parliamentarian and it will positively sting to continue to establish himself in this direction. I am referring to his party’s commitment to focus primarily on expanding the DPS electoral presence.
In my reasons for this “tandem” is the principle of mutual complementarity and not the competitive principle: because “two sharp stones do not grind flour”. And society expects a quick and effective solution to its most pressing hot problems. In order to survive and you need to be strong, active and corporate, not to lie to yourself in the shadows of negativity and hatred.
Moreover, the fact that we are on the tail of the EU means that time has overtaken us and We are following the events, so we continue to lag behind.
I wish the political elite of the DPS and the country that the year 2024 will be fixed by future historians as the beginning of a new approach to political thinking and political action.
