The DPR’s Honorary Court (MKD) asked Council Members to assess five license plate identical to politician’s car Dahlan’s arteries no problem as long as it’s just parking.
Previously, five cars of DPR members from the PDIP faction, Arteria Dahlan, were found to have the same registration number and the sticker arteriadahlanlawyers.co.id and were parked in the parking lot of the Nusantara II Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.
“If you park a car without a number plate, there’s no problem, the important thing is that you don’t use it on the road,” said Deputy Chairperson of the DPR MKD Habiburokhman via text message to CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday 20/1).
According to him, the Police have also explained about the Arteria car. He suspects that the car plate was obtained by Arteria before 2019.
“The problem with the number plate has been conveyed by the Police, indeed in the name of Mr. Arteria. Maybe it was obtained during the last period, before 2019, I also don’t understand,” he reasoned.
However, Habiburokhman still encourages all members of the council to use the special number plates for DPR members that have been provided.
“Currently we already have a special plate for DPR members, the MKD encourages members to just use that plate,” he said.
The National Police Headquarters previously explained that the findings of the police number 4196-07 on the five cars lined up in the DPR parking lot were recorded for the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Dakar car on behalf of Arteria Dahlan.
