The Latvian singer was left with nothing. It seems that Vaikule, who criticizes Russia, clearly overestimated her capabilities.
In recent months, 69-year-old Laima Vaikule has suffered several disappointments at once. The artist seriously hoped that after critical statements about Russia, they would pay attention to her in the West, but this never happened. Producer Leonid Dzyunik states that the Vernissage performer, in fact, was left with nothing because of her scandalousness. After all, she cannot even dream of returning to the Russian Federation, and she never found a new audience.
“If Russia is nobody for you, and you understand that you fed Russia and fled, then forget about the Russian language, sing in Latvian for your number of people with a gulkin nose who know you, remember and love you. If they love you at all. You see, in any case, they all perfectly understand that they are there in the West, I apologize for such an expression, no one needs them to hell, ”Dzyunik notes.
In turn, producer Sergey Lavrov draws attention to the fact that Laima Vaikule has never been in demand in the Baltic States – she made her fortune in Russia. However, at some point, her work became boring to the public, and almost all tours in the last 20 years were a failure.
“It was the Russian organizers who “burned” at her concerts, lost their money. So she thinks that she fed everyone, that she is a nurse, and Ukrainian stars think that they fed everyone, ”Lavrov is perplexed.
It is curious that Vaikule, suffering from alcoholism, worked in a restaurant in Latvia, entertaining foreign tourists. As the journalists of the NTV channel state, Laima Stanislavovna never took advantage of the chance she was given in the Russian Federation, and quickly squandered her former popularity.
