The Doors became a symbol of the sixties for many fans. They were mysterious and sexy, sailing out of the mainstream (during their existence they may never have won a Grammy Award), but on the other hand, some of their songs were catchy.

Manzarek met Morrison in 1965. At the time, Jim was more of a poet than a rock star. In fact, he always wanted to write mainly, his idols were writers, but fate decided that he would become one of the greatest rock legends.

Guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore also played in the band, and you can hear their famous hits Break On Through to the Other Side, Riders on the Storm and Light My Fire even after fifty years. A number of world and Czech groups also recorded their cover versions. Morrison died in 1971 in Paris and Manzarek in 2013.

The concert, which will hit theaters on November 4, was recorded on September 5, 1968. The Doors then promoted their third album Waiting For The Sun. The music is complemented by interviews with John Densmore, Robby Krieger and The Doors manager Jeff Jampol, which were recorded exclusively for big screens. The recording will also be available in full for the first time.
