For Kadyrov, there is only one way to save his life and power – to declare the independence of Chechnya, which could cause a domino effect among other republics in Russia.
Just five days after warning that the real Vladimir Putin had very little life left, the “General SVR” profile also indicated the exact time of his death – Thursday 20:42 Moscow time. Behind “General SVR” are former officers of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, and at least one or several of them are located in Turkey, because most of the messages on this profile are posted from Turkish IP addresses.
It all started on Thursday, at 23:25 Moscow time. In its backup channel in Telegram, “General SVR” released a video with “The Dance of the Little Swans” from the famous ballet “Swan Lake” to music by Tchaikovsky. The post had no accompanying text. But after he had already warned his followers on Saturday to expect the death of the Russian president, many saw the video as a prelude to a more serious message. At 11:41 p.m., “General SVR” wrote the following simultaneously on its main Telegram channel and on its profiles in Ex, one of which is in English: “There is a coup d’état taking place in Russia at the moment! Russian President Vladimir Putin died this evening at his residence in Valdai. At 8:42 p.m. Moscow time, doctors stopped resuscitation and pronounced him dead. Doctors are currently trapped in the room with Putin’s corpse. They were detained by officers of the Presidential Security Service on the personal order of Dmitry Kochnev, who maintains contact and receives instructions from the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev. The security of the President’s double has been increased. Active negotiations have begun between several members of the so-called “politburo” how to proceed. But no matter how it is done, any attempt after Putin’s death to push the lie-Putin as president to the public is a coup d’état.”
As can be expected, there is no official confirmation from the Russian side of the news of Putin’s death. The Russian media, which are completely under the strict control of the Kremlin, continued throughout the night in their usual rhythm to report on the successes on the front, on the upcoming commitments of the head of state and on the war in Israel. However, a few interesting posts from not-so-random people in recent days make it clear that Putin is either really living the end of his earthly journey, or has already finished it. There was even a hint of doubt from them that the death might have occurred long before Thursday.
On October 13, on her YouTube channel, Vladimir Putin’s personal astrologer – Svetlana Dragan, published a video entitled “Svetlana Dragan’s Address”. It lasts 43 minutes. Most of it is an exhortation to “all Russians” to be strong, cool-headed, to have the will “to withstand the turbulence that lies ahead.” This video has nothing to do with her previous posts, in which she usually talks about how Russia will expand and take over almost the entire world. This time, Dragan looks worried, even desperate, on the verge of tears. Which is in stark contrast to her usual demeanor, always accompanied by an unchanging broad smile. Only towards the end of the video does she say that October 26 will be a border date for Russia, after which nothing will be the same. She hasn’t revealed exactly what will happen on October 26, but her look suggests it will be dramatic enough. At least according to her perceptions.
As Putin’s personal astrologer, Svetlana Dragan was a popular guest on all Russian television.
Dragan is not just one of many astrologers. She is the only one who enjoys the enormous trust of the censored Russian television stations, which almost every week invite her to their shows to talk about the future huge successes of Russia and its expansion into a world empire. There, Svetlana Dragan never hid that she had access to the “kitchen” of power, and therefore – enough information about what was happening at the top. The naming of October 26th specifically, and two weeks before the date, suggests that she may have had some prior information, whether she received it astrologically or through her court status.
There is another interesting person in Russia at the moment – the doctor of historical sciences Valery Solovei. Unlike all the other oppositionists, who have either been killed, or have long since fled abroad, or been imprisoned for many years, he is free and no one is arresting him. Solovei supports many channels that behave in an oppositional manner. The very fact that he is practically the only oppositionist on Russian territory, who is not bothered by the authorities, is already significant.
On Tuesday, Solovei gave an interview to the Russian emigre media Ishchem Vyhod, in which he said that Putin was seriously ill and would not last more than a few days. Tam also said that immediately after his death, the war in Ukraine will be stopped, because no one from Putin’s entourage wants it, and it was almost a personal fixed idea only of the leader. Solovei also stated another interesting thing – that Yevgeny Prigozhin is alive, and his death was staged. The boss of “Wagner” was hiding in Venezuela and would return to Russia very soon – as soon as Putin died.
The same day, through his account in Aix and his YouTube channel, Solovei urged his followers to watch his extraordinary video, scheduled for Thursday at 20:00 Moscow time, entitled “After Putin 1999-2023”. Shortly before the video was released, Soloway wrote in Ex, “The tyrant is dead.”
Historian Valery Solovei wrote from Moscow in Aix, “The tyrant is dead.” As of this writing, no one had arrested him
Valery Solovei has made more than one prediction in the past, which has come true. However, all of them are in one way or another connected with events initiated by the Kremlin. It can be assumed that the historian simply has inside information, or that it is thrown to him to be disseminated by a person who has been created a public image of an oppositionist. In last night’s video, Solovey says that a civil war is coming in Russia, but “we don’t have another way to go.”
Did Putin’s death really happen on Thursday night? Wasn’t that time chosen on purpose by someone to legitimize the information, while the chief had actually been dead for a long time? Or was Thursday chosen by someone as the day to help Putin die?
It’s hard to say whether there will ever be a definitive answer to these questions. Russia has historical experience in this regard. Even today, there is still debate among experts as to exactly how Stalin’s death happened. Was he on his deathbed, or was he simply left to die by his entourage after another heart attack, because there they already had a taste of the future power they would acquire
There may be no opposition in today’s Russia, but there are many forces willing to do anything to gain or increase their power. In the last 24 years of his presidency for life, Vladimir Putin had learned to curb and balance them. This kept Russia relatively calm. But the moment the “trainer” of these forces is gone, they will be ready to act. It is enough to take even one Ramzan Kadyrov. On the one hand, he has turned Chechnya into a dictatorship within the dictatorship, where Russian laws practically do not apply. Sharia has been introduced there with a mandatory dress code for women and men. The former must be dressed according to the Islamic canon, the latter must have beards. Kadyrov has privatized the police and military forces located on the territory of this republic. On the other hand, all this has made him huge enemies among the power agencies in Moscow. Only Putin has so far protected the Chechen leader from self-destruction initiated by the military or police bosses. Kadyrov’s power itself is the result of his personal agreement with Putin – one promised to keep Chechnya peaceful within Russia, and the other left him to rule the republic as he saw fit. After Putin’s death, Kadyrov doesn’t have many useful moves to save himself, other than to declare that he no longer has commitments to the big state and declare independence. The situation is similar with dozens more like him. There are smaller Kadirov people, but not with smaller measures of power, in Tatarstan, and in Bashkortostan, and in Ingushetia, and in Dagestan, and in Kabardino-Balkaria. In order to counter the Kremlin’s attempts to remove them, it is possible that they will flood Russia with the same thing that Israel has been suffering from for decades – a wave of Islamic terror.
At the same time, the hundreds of criminal prisoners convicted of all kinds of serious crimes, including murder, who, with Putin’s permission, were released without trial from prisons to join Yevgeny Prigozhin’s private military company “Wagner” were nowhere to be found. The moment the war in Ukraine ends, which is expected to happen in the first few days after the dictator’s death becomes a public fact, these criminals will be out of a job, but free. And they will quickly return to their usual occupation – violence and murder.
But even the people from Putin’s closest circle are not a homogeneous mass with the same ideas about Russia. There are hawks out there who want the war in Ukraine to continue and those who would give anything to stop it and get back their lavish lives of the past – with their villas and capital in the West. It is most logical that the struggle for power should start from them, and that they should set the tone for violence and self-destruction.
Russia is pregnant with so many states and so many problems, the manifestation of which the living Vladimir Putin was able to suppress, that it is possible that the war in Ukraine, and even the one between Israel and Palestine, will look like a flash in the background of what lies ahead in this a huge country.
