The dollar continues to record its usual numbers, after declining to the vicinity of 91,000 pounds. The calm is due to the large rate of dollar pumping through a banking platform by the Banque du Liban.
Prices are recorded for Saturday, July 8, about 91,000 pounds for purchase and about 91,400 pounds for sale. Some merchants adopt an exchange rate that touches 90,000 pounds.
As for trading on an exchange platform, it reached $120 million yesterday, at a price of 85,500 pounds.
