The “Documentary” channel of the United Media Services Company announces its production of a huge film that deals with the biography of the great journalist writer, Professor Muhammad Hassanein Heikal, and monitors the most prominent stations of his long journalistic career, the most important political issues he fought, and the positions he defended, in conjunction with the centenary of his birth, which falls The current year 2023.

A number of senior Egyptian, Arab and foreign writers, journalists, politicians, and diplomats are participating in the documentary. Exclusive interviews and archival material dealt with in the film are filmed inside Egypt and some foreign Arab capitals.

In a related context, the company contracted CMC With United Media Services to produce 24 documentaries during the year 2023, for the benefit of the news sector; To be shown on the Cairo News Channel and Extra News.

Following contract CMC With United, Hisham Suleiman, Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors of United for the artistic production sector, stated; that firm CMC After the first season of her documentaries, she became a trusted partner in Al-Mutahidah, because their films are important and have a great impact on the audience as a result of their ideas, the way they are presented and their messages, which is what the United Company awaits and expects in the second season of the films CMC contracted for the benefit of the news sector.

It is noteworthy that the news sector is led by the journalist Ahmed Al-Tahri, while he is in charge of the management CMC Both the journalist Rasha Al-Shami and the novelist Osama Al-Shazly.

The most prominent films during the second season were Jab El-Deeb’s film from Dallah, about theatrical producer Samir Khafagy, the founder of the United Artists Troupe, and the film “A City That Never Sleeps” about Cairo Governorate, about that living city 24 hours every day, directed by Ahmed Abdel-Gawad, and a film about Ahmed Salem, the radio presenter, actor and pilot. His story is written by Muhammad Harbi, and a film about the life of the reciter, Sheikh Muhammad Rifaat; As well as films about the musician Nabil El-Dabaa, author of the music of sound and light, directed by Muhammad Al-Waziri, and a film about the popular singer Ramadan Al-Prince, directed by Ali Satohi, and another about the secret of the planet Umm Kulthum in music, directed by Walid Al-Rifai and written by Amr Shaheen, and other documentaries dubbed “Documentaries Wearing” draping abaya.

And the films that were shown from the first season included 10 films that varied between biographies, social documentaries, and historical works, namely Sayed al-Naqshbandi, “Unity of Death in the Egyptian”, Acapella, Your Head Raised, A Miracle in Naga’, Baramah Misr, Sohba, Rakia, Years of Tightening the Belt, Nasr Hamid Abu Zaid .
