Thiruvananthapuram – Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Intercontinental Documentary and Brief Film Pageant arranged by the Film Academy. The Prime Minister presented the Life time Achievement Award (Rs. 2 lakh) to Reena Mohan, director and editor of documentaries, when Minister VN Vasavan presided more than the purpose. Festival Book Film Improvement Company President Shaji N. Minister Antony Raju gave it to Karun and introduced it. The Every day Bulletin was handed over to Mayor Arya Rajendran by Minister GR Anil.
Present had been the president of the Film Academy Ranjith, the vice president Premkumar, the secretary C. Ajoy, the actor Madhupal and other folks. Reena Mohan, who has been working in the documentary, editing and curating field for 12 decades, mentioned she is dedicating the award to mysterious cinema artists. Soon after the ceremony, the opening film Mariupolis 2 was demonstrated.
