The Doctor Treating Angham: There is improvement in the artist’s condition, and he is currently in hospital

Dr. Wael Ghafir, Professor of Surgery at Cairo University School of Medicine, the doctor treating artist Angham, said that there is improvement in the artist’s condition and he is currently in hospital , adding that he has adhesions in his intestines and intestinal obstruction.

The treating doctor revealed in a telephone interview with journalist Ramy Radwan on his DMC evening program on the DMC channel about the health condition of the artist Angham, saying: “He had an operation a week ago , and it lasted 3 days, and she was discharged from the hospital, after which she complained of severe abdominal pain and was hospitalized”. In bad condition, she does not eat or drink, vomiting continuously.

He continued: ‘She has had x-rays taken and her intestines were found to be sticky, which has led to intestinal obstruction. A stomach tube has been installed and her condition is improving. Any operations in the abdomen after which adhesions occur after two days, a year or 15 years.Any operation in which the abdomen opens will remain adhesions in it.

He explained, “Adhesions are part of any abdominal surgery and the chances of recovery from them are very high and the chances are slim that we’re going to have to have surgery and intestinal adhesions have no symptoms.”
