the doctor told how the vaccination affected the country

In Israel removed almost all restrictionsintroduced due to the coronavirus pandemic. It became possible due to the rapid rate of vaccination of the population, which the country started one of the first in the world – in the 20th of December last year.

About this medical director Tel Aviv First Medical Center Yuri Rankov said in an interview with the publication “Gordon“. Now in Israel shopping and entertainment centers, restaurants are open again, weddings are allowed.

Masks still need to be worn in public, and most serious restrictions remain in playgrounds and entertainment centers… Minors, like adults, are required to wear protective equipment and keep their distance. Israel is now waiting for the decision of the American regulator FDAto start vaccinating children over 12 years of age.

“Life is gradually returning to its usual course. Moreover, Israel is now preparing to celebrate Independence Day on April 14-15. And we will celebrate this day as the first country to defeat the coronavirus,” Rankov said.

According to the doctor, the successful vaccination in Israel was facilitated by the fact that the president and the prime minister were the first to receive vaccinations publicly, as well as support for the immunization campaign by all media and restrictions on those who refused to inject.

First of all, doctors, employees of special services, social workers, staff and residents of boarding schools were vaccinated in the country. Rankov noted that there is no need for additional research before the procedure.

The medical director listed the main principles of vaccination against COVID-19 in Israel:

  • People who have had coronavirus can only be vaccinated after a full recovery. A person can receive the first dose of the vaccine at least three months later.

  • A patient who contracted COVID-19 after the first dose of the vaccine may receive a second shot three months after confirmation of recovery.

  • In the event that a patient becomes ill with coronavirus after being vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine, he does not need a new injection. He will also suffer a milder illness.

  • If the antibody test showed that a person had a previous illness, he can receive one dose of the vaccine at any time, there is no need to wait three months.

  • It is forbidden to take a blood test for antibodies from those who have undergone COVID-19 to resolve the issue of vaccination. A large number of antibodies does not indicate reliable immunity to the virus.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, Israel from April 7 tightened the rules of entry… Now, to cross the border, citizens of Ukraine and other foreigners must apply in advance, and also have a negative PCR test for COVID-19, taken 72 hours before arrival.
