The Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series presented by Goodyear is entering the home straight. The final will already take place next Sunday. At the LEGO Technic 3h race, all four classes should be furious again.
At the top of the field, a flock of Mercedes AMG GT3s can once again be expected in the SP9. Be it the Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Team HRT with the Hungarian Norbi Kiss, Florian Denzler and Danny Giusa, the winners of DNLS1, or the Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Team Landgraf with the Finns Elias Seppanen and Luca Kita, the winners of the third run. But the Mahle Racing Team wants to make the oil rancid for the cars from Affalterbach. The winners of races two and four are competitive with their Porsche 911R GT3. US boy Phil Denes and Estonian Rainer Talvar have big plans for the virtual final sprint.

The variety of brands enriches the BMW teams. BS Competition with Nils Koch and Julian Kesselhut, the Walkenhorst Motorsport team with Dominik Staib and Sami-Matti Trogen as well as the BMW Bank team with Bruno Spengler and Kay Kaschube all want to finish the season in first place with the BMW M4 GT3.
The final decisions are of course equally pending in all four classes. The discard result plays an important role. Because of this, there could still be significant shifts in the classification in the end. In SP9, the Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Team HRT has 32 points, including Streicher, in the fight for overall victory. With 15, 11 and 6 points, they have already scored well three times. The Mahle Racing Team (31 points) scored full points twice, but also finished the other races with zero and one point, so at least one weaker result counts. The same applies to the Mercedes-AMG E-Sports Team Landgraf (24 points). Here, too, there were 15 and 8 points, but also a zero and a one. So BS Competition (11, 4, 8, 0) and Team BMW Bank (4, 6, 1, 11) could move up a good bit in the final standings with a win.
Fourth place is enough for Coanda Simsport Cup2 to win overall
In the Cup2, David Williams and Zachery Campbell from Coanda Simsport would suffice for a third place for overall success on Sunday. The Englishman and the American won the last three races of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. Ascher Racing with Marcus Jirak and Martin Ascher would not be able to catch up with the duo even if they were successful.
In the SP10 class, CoRe Simracing SP10 is unassailable in front. The Austrian Pascal Stix and Maxim Ramsteijn from the Netherlands have already won three times in the Porsche Cayman GT4 and also finished second once. Even with a zero number on Sunday, that’s a safe 56 points. Incidentally, Stix will be team-mates with Swede Carl E Jansson for the last race. The RSO 397 team with Nils Carstensen and Nils Lorenz can no longer achieve this number of points after two second places and one win. If Nils Carstensen and Nils Lorenz score the maximum possible 15 points in the final run, they would at best have 52 points including the discarded result.
Team Heusinkveld 404 already has the overall win in the SP3T
The same situation exists in the SP3T. Here, too, everything is already clear. The Heusinkveld 404 team with Marcel Tie, Fabian Siegmann and Patrick Kubinji has secured 53 points after three wins and a third place in the Audi RS3 LMS. CoRe SimRacing SP3T stands at one win and second places. Even if they were to win again, Frenchman Corentin Guinez and Briton Kieran Harrison would only have 52 points in the final at best. On the other hand, Marshmallow Racing with Moritz Weinrich and Dennis Ronsdorf could even intercept CoRe SimRacing SP3T after two second and one fourth place with a win.
There is a four-way battle for the “German Payment DNLS Championship”.
In the “German Payment DNLS Championship”, the season finale is a four-way battle between Coanda Simsport Cup2, Team Heusinkveld 404 (both 20 points), CoRe SimRacing SP10 (18) and Team RSO397 (17). In this special classification, it pays to be fast and complete the race without any special incidents. Points are awarded across all classes for the top 3 in the race, pole position, the fastest race lap and the least iRacing incident. A maximum of six points can be scored per run.
In the real sim ranking, the most successful teams from the three smaller classes with a driver from real motorsport are rewarded with bonuses. Here, Peter Bonk Per4mance is in the lead with 15 points ahead of the Deutsche Payment eSports DNLS #310 team (14) and W&S eMotorsport (11).
The moderators Patrick Simon and Olli Martini, known from the NLS, will again expertly accompany the events of the virtual offshoot on Sunday. The live stream will be presented by LEGO Technic, who will also be starting their own team in SP9. Before the first race really gets going, the positions on the starting grid will be determined in two separate qualifying sessions. The live stream starts at 12:15 p.m. and is on www.VLN.deYouTube and Facebook available.
